NOBODY likes to read the terms of service, we TOTALLY get it. BUT this information is important so you can know what to expect from us, and what we also expect from you before you rent a yard greeting!
(You will be required to agree to these terms at time of order and payment.)


• We do not accept cash or checks, all payments must be made with a credit/debit card 

through our email payment processing system: Square.

You WILL need to provide a valid email address 

AND have valid credit/debit card information to complete your payment. 

• Immediate payment is required in order to reserve your yard greeting on our calendar.


• Due to the unique nature of each setup, and the number of greetings we book each day, we can't provide specific delivery/pick up times. We only guarantee that the greeting will be delivered within the window booked on your order form: 

Standard 'day of event' delivery: 9am-2pm or Optional 'evening before event' delivery: 7-11pm.

• Please WATER the lawn! The soil where the sign will be placed needs to properly watered PRIOR to scheduled delivery window.

If the sign is not for your own address, it is your responsibility to inform someone at the delivery address of this policy.

If, upon arrival, the lawn has not been watered and we can't get our stakes in the ground properly, we will not complete installation, and you will receive a refund MINUS $20 for preparation & travel fees

• We CANNOT install signs indoors, or within unsuitable outdoor lawn conditions such rocks, tree roots, pea gravel, concrete, mulch, flower beds, thick landscaping, hard packed soil from recent construction or areas used as a gravel driveway, for example. We install signs on lawns. We define lawns as unobstructed soil with grass on the top.

Please do NOT remove our signs from your lawn for ANY reason.

For your safety and the safety of our signs, customers/recipients are NOT permitted to move/remove signs. It is your responsibility to inform everyone at the delivery address of this policy. Our team will remove signs from their originally installed location.

If signs need to be taken down before your scheduled removal time, please contact us and our team will come remove ASAP.

• If signs have been moved/removed, you will be charged a $20 penalty fee plus any additional replacement costs for damaged/missing signs.

• If the delivery address provided to us is incorrect, or if we cannot locate address with standard GPS systems at the time of delivery, and have not been given specific directions, we will not NOT complete installation, and your order will be refunded MINUS $20 for preparation & travel fees.

• There is no need for you to be home during delivery or removal. Our team will install your greeting as quickly & quietly as possible.

If you have specific placement requests, please include that information in your comments on the order form, otherwise our experienced installers will choose the best location for aesthetic and installation purposes.

• If your greeting is a surprise for an address other than your own, we ask that you please notify someone in that household that we will be on the property during the scheduled window for setup and take down.

• If the rental is a surprise evening setup for another member of your household: please close blinds/drapes during the delivery time window and leave an outside light on for us so we can identify the address easily.



• We encourage you to pose next to the display for photographs, but for the safety of you and our signs, please do not touch, lean on, or play near the display. Our items will not safely support any weight or pressure. We will not be held liable for any personal injuries that occur. You will be held responsible for any sign damages that occur.

• Please do NOT attach anything (balloons, string, decorations, etc.) to any part of the display.

• Please do NOT perform ANY lawn maintenance near signs while they are installed.

If you have a lawn service scheduled during the duration of your display it is your responsibility to inform them of this policy or simply reschedule for them to come after the sign is removed.

• If you have any outdoor pets, please keep them away from the signs. We strongly encourage you to keep pets fenced in a separate area or indoors for the duration of your rental.

• All signs are the property of Sign Gypsies, you will be charged for all damages/replacements necessary.

• Sign Gypsies and all representatives are not responsible or liable for any injury or damage that may be caused to your personal property during the setup or removal of any rental.


• We will photograph your yard greeting rental for use on our public website, or social media pages unless you specifically inform us not to do so.

• We will place a small sign in your yard with our contact info. This sign is unobtrusive to your custom greeting, please do not move it.


• We respectfully reserve the right to cancel an order after arrival for delivery if we feel the area is unsuitable/unsafe for our signs or our team.

We will contact you if this situation arises to decide on an alternative arrangement/solution.

• We will NOT be able to set up or take down displays under SEVERE/HAZARDOUS WEATHER CONDITIONS.

We will do our best to make alternative scheduling arrangements. If we are unable to set up a greeting due to severe weather you will receive a refund.

• If you must cancel your yard greeting, you must do so AT LEAST 48 HOURS BEFORE

your scheduled delivery in order to receive a refund. Refunds take 7-14 business days to process.

• Rescheduling a greeting for any reason is subject to availability.
